Electronic Valley is located in Santa Rita do Sapucaí,
one of the leading centers of technology in Brazil. It’s known for developing
and producing products for the telecommunications, electronics sectors, computing,
industrial and building automation, security, IT, industrial equipment and services.
It results from a school whose main characteristics are entrepreneurship and encouraging
technological innovation and it is promoted by the institutions:
- Escola Técnica de Eletrônica “Francisco Moreira da Costa” – ETE, the first electronical school in Latin America (1959);
- Nacional telecommunications Institute – INATEL (1965);
- Computing and Managements Faculty – FAI (1971);
- SESI/SENAI – fomenter institution of education and innovation for the industrial sector.
- SINDVEL – Electronic Valley Sindicate.
